Ruchi Malhotra, MS LPC (she/her/hers)
I am here as an advocate, guide and witness to support your journey in healing and wellness. My goal is to partner with you to increase a sense of personal freedom, self-understanding and hope. I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental environment where you feel affirmed and can experience meaningful growth. As a therapist I offer presence, compassion and authenticity.
I am passionate about working from a strengths-based, anti-oppressive, trauma informed approach tailored to address your unique needs. I draw upon various modalities of therapy including, but not limited to EMDR inspired BrainSpotting, mindfulness, narrative and somatic techniques.
Areas of specialization include complex, intergenerational and identity based trauma, life transitions, internalized oppression, anxiety, grief/loss and self-empowerment.
I received my master’s in Applied Psychology and have been practicing for over 15 years. Currently, I hold a license as a professional counselor in the State of Colorado. In addition to being a therapist in private practice, I have worked at various settings (University of Colorado Boulder, Grant program for homeless youth, LGBTQI+ Community Center, and Victims Assistance).
I offer in person and virtual sessions for adults and teens. I believe in finding a therapist who is the right fit; therefore I offer a free 20-minute consultation. I would be deeply honored to be a part of your healing journey.
